Adventures in Canadia

I'm hitting up Vancouver BC with my number one homeslice soul sister, Manda. We're gonna go up Saturday morning and come back Sunday morning, and while we're going to visit a bro in the area in particular that's still a lot of time!

So, I ask my Canadian homies - anyone who knows the Vancouver area have any suggestions for sigh seeing or stores that CANNOT BE MISSED?

You are going to want to hit up bookoff, a used bookstore downtown -- all kinds of raw manga and artbooks for $2-$5 each. I discovered it last year and came back with a suitcase full whoops.

Gastown is also an amazing area to walk around in - http://www.gastown.org/neighbourhood tho I've only been there at night so most of the stores were closed.

I lived in British Columbia for three winters, yet never properly explored Stanley Park till this year. Definitely do that, as the sights are amazing. If you have time/the ability to do so however, go up to Whistler. It's a little less then a two hour drive, beautiful fjords, lovely village - and the best ice cream in the world is at Cows. Down half-way through the walk through. Mongolie Grill is also fun...and McCoos is good shopping and the manager at McCoos Too is a friend.
